Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager!


Location: Elkhart, IN


Starting Salary: $90,000/year (Exempt, salaried role)

Worldwide Foam is looking for a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager who's not afraid to take the lead in building and scaling a proactive maintenance operation. This high-impact leadership role is your opportunity to shape the future of our facility, including our new XLPE bun manufacturing line, while keeping all systems go across extrusion, compounding, and infrastructure.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Lead all facility maintenance functions-equipment, building systems, utilities, and grounds.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems issues with confidence and urgency.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and manage vendor relationships to keep everything flowing.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and align maintenance with operations.
  • Drive compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Manage facility upgrades, layout improvements, and capital projects.
  • Evaluate and oversee contractors and service providers.
  • Own the maintenance budget, track KPIs, and report on results.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure all security systems are fully operational.
  • Lead, mentor, and delegate to a skilled maintenance team.


What We're Looking For:


  • 7+ years in maintenance leadership within manufacturing-foam extrusion or plastics experience is a huge plus!
  • Strong knowledge of extrusion, compounding, laminating, and skiving machinery.
  • Proven ability to manage building systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance strategies, and vendor management.
  • Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and tracking maintenance performance metrics.
  • A sharp eye for safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
