Maintenance Technician - Evening Shift

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventive maintenance and repairs on company equipment, trucks, buildings, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fabrication work, and will play a vital role in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and operating efficiently.

• Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, trucks, and building interior/exterior.
  
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Perform general plumbing, minor electrical repairs, and carpentry tasks.
  
• Assist with the installation and relocation of equipment, including light welding and metal fabrication.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of buildings and grounds; remove debris and perform general cleanup.
  
• Inspect properties and report maintenance needs or safety concerns to management.
  
• Perform painting, refinishing, carpet installation/repair, and occasional custodial duties.
  
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance.
  
• Conduct weekly safety inspections to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
  
• Monitor building security, including locking doors and checking electrical equipment after hours.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Valid driver�s license required.
  
• Experience with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and carpentry work.
  
• Familiarity with lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  
• Ability to operate a forklift, light truck, and related motorized equipment.
  
• Skilled with both manual and powered hand tools.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
• Flexible schedule, including availability for off-shift and weekend work.
  

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  
• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and walking.
  
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.
  
• Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
  

• Typical industrial/plant setting including loading dock and outdoor work.
  
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  
• Requires attention to safety, particularly around moving equipment and low-clearance areas.
