Maintenance Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Duties:

• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure the hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained
  

• Perform repairs to in house plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems
  

• Must be able to push or pull 100 pounds and lift and/or carry 60 pounds
  

• Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, climb ladders, crawl, kneel and be low to the ground when necessary
  

• Assist with guest issues, be professional and maintain a hospitable caring attitude
  

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs
  

• Perform tasks as assigned: preventative maintenance, repairs, complete documentation
  

• Supervise and coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs or installations
  

• Communicate effectively with staff and upper management
  

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  

• Working knowledge of: electricity, AC and plumbing along with a working knowledge of preventative maintenance
  

• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
  

• Must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
