Job Profile


We are looking for a skilled

Maintenance Manager to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs, cleaning and property upkeep. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.


Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Must be able to lift over 75# and be physically fit for the demands of the position. With several properties, organization is a must and time management and proper planning for each project with supplies and labor needs is essential.


Must be able to work independently and efficiently. Individuals are professional and keep socializing with team and guests upbeat but focused. We are looking to fill an average of 35 hours per week.


Responsibilities


  • Perform minor fixes such as repairing/ replacing broken locks, managing our security panels for each restaurant.
  • Check breaker panels and electrical wiring to identify issues for Electrician.
  • Facilitate quotes from contractors for work needed.
  • Install appliances and equipment for Restaurants as needed.
  • Change filters on water systems and equipment, ice machines as required by manufacturer.
  • Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc. if needed to clean up an area you are working on. Don�t leave a mess.
  • Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, weed whacking, pressure washing drive thru pads, managing storage areas.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, repairing walls and tiles and ceiling tiles.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) HVAC, change filters and manage systems with HVAC provider.
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
  • Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations and projects, such as plumber, electrician and contractors we prefer to use.
  • Report to Franchisee/Owner for issues that need immediate assistance or attention.


Requirements and skills


  • Proven experience as Manager or other similar independent position
  • Must be available during an emergency.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools, power equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills (we provide a company cell phone) You must log all work completed.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must provide a valid drivers license
  • Must provide own vehicle. (we reimburse gas used for travel to and from restaurants; you must provide the receipts and submit at the end of each month for payment).
