Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics is required. Familiarity with MTA principles per MIL-STD-1388, MIL-STD-3034, or DEF-STAN 00-60 is preferred, as is experience with fault tree analysis (FTA), logic diagrams, and root cause isolation techniques. Knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes-particularly for electrical systems, harnessing, and electromechanical assemblies-is preferred. Prior experience authoring or validating service procedures or troubleshooting guides is also preferred. Familiarity with Logistics Engineering Software, ERP systems, and Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements such as training, provisioning, and sustainment planning is a plus.
