- Garrett Woods Assisted Living has a Part Time position Monday-Tuesday 10p-6 and PRN, for dedicated LPNs to join our Team. Must enjoy working with Geriatrics, have the ability to lead and direct team members and deliver high quality care for our senior community. We provide a great working environment and looking for the perfect fit. Applicants must possess an active nuring license, be dedicated, compassionate and hardworking. Will need to provide references that demonstrate a history of reliability. We pride ourselves in taking great care of our residents.
- Responsibilities
- Record a patient�s medical history accurately in Point Click Care
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Monitor patients� condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients� family or friends to provide comfort and release instructions
- Communication with physician's offices and pharmacies
- Communicate any updates or changes to facility APN
