Oakland Nursing Center, a 26-bed skilled nursing facility, is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of Surgeons Choice Medical Center. Our highly skilled physicians, nurses, techs, therapists and ancillary support staff all work together to help our patients regain their health, mobility, and the skills necessary to return to their prior level of independence.
The
LPN is responsible for the provision of nursing care to patients and to direct non-licensed staff in the same. Assesses, plans care, provides treatment regimes, evaluates care, and collaborates with the physicians and interdisciplinary care delivery team to provide comprehensive nursing care. Serves as a resource person to Patient Care Tech (CNA) staff, assuming leadership roles and responsibilities, as assigned.- Graduate of accredited school of licensed practical nursing required
- 1+ years of experience as a LPN strongly preferred.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting required.
- Current unrestricted LPN license from the State of Michigan required.
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
