To help support our growth and maintain our commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics and scheduling activities of inbound and outbound freight for our two manufacturing facilities (Fond du Lac, WI & Spencer, WI), ensuring efficient operations from procurement to delivery. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to optimize logistics processes.

Must have high functioning knowledge of QuickBooks, inventory, purchase orders (POs), sales orders (SOs) and basic understanding of accrual accounting. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams knowledgeable. Coordinates workflows with Operations Team, Production Teams, Employee Drivers, and Outside Carriers/3PL.

• Logistics- Support scheduling of all inbound/outbound freight. Prepare bills of lading and other supporting documentation.
  
• Scheduling- Coordinate and collaborate with production staff to ensure accurate order production and timely customer delivery.
  
• Collaborate with company drivers, dedicated carriers , and third-party logistics providers (3PL) for freight management.
  
• Procurement- Work with Plant Managers/Ops Team regarding ordering/scheduling raw material needed for production.
  
• Inventory management - work with production teams to maintain acceptable inventories and maintain accurate inventory reports.
  
• Conduct data analysis to support demand planning and inventory forecasting.
  
• Inside sales- Provide customer service, including answering the phone/replying to emails, and taking and confirming orders, email, and other customer correspondence.
  
• Ensure adherence with company policies and procedures.
  
• Prepare and present tracking and management reports.
  
• Occasionally provide after-hours support for in/outbound freight, customer service inquiries.
  
• Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Utilize transportation management systems for effective logistics planning.
  

• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
  
• Proficient in inventory management techniques and warehouse operations.
  
• Knowledge of transportation planning and freight logistics.
  
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
  
• Experience with QuickBooks, inventory, purchase orders (POs), sales orders (SOs) and basic understanding of accrual accounting.
  
• Excellent data analysis skills for effective decision-making.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
