Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings. This role requires a strong understanding of various areas of law, including but not limited to immigration law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and tribal law regulations. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for conducting research, drafting legal documents, and managing case files to ensure the smooth operation of our law office.


Responsibilities


  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of cases for litigation by organizing case files and evidence.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents with the court.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and case management systems.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop trial strategies and prepare for court appearances.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect ongoing cases.


Skills


  • Proficiency in legal drafting with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
  • Experience in interviewing clients and witnesses effectively.
