We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. - Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures to prepare meals according to our standards
- Cook and plate dishes with attention to detail and presentation
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Culinary training or degree is a plus.
