Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our breakfast team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food prep and cooking, with experience and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional meals to our guests.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  
• Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
  
• Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques
  
• Support catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service
  
• Utilize knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision and presentation
  
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues
  

• Proven experience in the culinary field, preferably within fine dining or restaurant settings
  
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  
• Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
  
• Experience in menu planning and catering services is highly desirable
  
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation
  
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
  
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
