Little Star is looking for a line cook to join our team for up to four shifts a week. Hours are 1pm-11pm. We offer a fun, friendly and team oriented work environment, great pay and schedule with a tasty shift meal and the opportunity to become an expert on our brand of Montana cooking. - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using proper knife skills.
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about food preparation techniques.
