The part time Library Technician will play a vital role responsible for providing efficient, day-to-day customer service and direct interaction with library users, providing assistance with resources, managing circulation, and ensuring a positive library experience.
- Checking materials in and out
- Assisting patrons with finding and using library resources
- Manages library accounts and resolving patron inquiries and issues
- Greets library patrons
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
- Deliver courteous customer service
- Follow directions and store policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Demonstrate reliability and strong attendance
- Stay detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Some prior library experience is preferred
- Proven ability to interact effectively with the public
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Reach overhead and bend or crouch as needed
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs
