As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. • Ensures that patient understands medication purpose, side effects, and administration instructions in the hospital as well as at the time of discharge.

Experience

• Basic Life Support
  

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.
  

• Must successfully pass or have passed the bilingual test within the last twelve (12) months or be active in the QBS program.
  

• Will be required to train and perform GI specialty procedures, such as GI tube changes, manometry, WCE, paracentesis.
