The Pennie Z. Davis Child Development Center offers the best early childhood experience available for children ages six weeks through five years. Our warm home-like environment, the region’s most experienced staff, an extraordinary facility, and innovative programs provide an excellent introduction to the child’s learning experience.
Curriculum and Classroom Management:
· Submits weekly lesson plans to Director and Curriculum Coordinator
· Implements Jewish curriculum while highlighting core values
· Provides opportunities for both 1:1, small, and large group work
· Uses observation and children’s interests to create curriculum
· Works with JCC program staff and coordinates outside special events
· Demonstrates effective classroom management techniques
· Validates children’s perspectives during problem solving and conflict resolution
Other duties include: relationships with parents, collaborative efforts, professional development, and relationships with children.
- Bachelor�s Degree in Education highly preferred: Family and Child Development, Early Childhood, or related field, plus experience in early childhood (2 years).
