Overview

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Lead Server/Bartender to join our vibrant team in a casual dining setting. This dual-role position requires a strong background in both bartending and serving, with leadership capabilities to support and guide front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, a deep knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Lead Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, crafting quality drinks, and helping maintain smooth daily operations.


Responsibilities


Lead FOH


  • Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Train new staff on company policies, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
  • Assist in managing bar operations, including beverage inventory and quality control.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow


Server


  • Greet guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Provide detailed menu information to guests.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest relations.


Bartender


  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent service, recommend drink selections, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payments.


Requirements


  • Bilingual
  • Familiarity with a POS system, preferably Clover or Homebase
  • Proven experience as a Server and Bartender.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.

  • We require that all employees be available seven days a week (mornings are a priority).
  • Since we are a small team, everyone needs to be prepared to wear multiple hats on a daily basis, you may end up bussing tables, taking out the trash, cleaning the inventory room, etc. Everyone chips in wherever they are needed.
