Monday-Thursday (Evening Shift)
Seeking a skilled Laser Operator to run computer-controlled laser machines for precision metal cutting. This role requires blueprint reading, machine programming, and routine maintenance to ensure high-quality production.
- Interpret blueprints and job orders to determine specs, tolerances, and sequence.
- Load programs, set up machines, and run operations.
- Trim, inspect, and measure components to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily, monthly, and annual machine maintenance.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and production procedures.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in machinery and manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physically able to lift 25-50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance).
- Manufacturing floor with high noise levels (PPE provided).
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and manual handling.
- May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
