Use of laser and water jet equipment to cut various materials ranging, not limited to, wood products, fiberglass, steel, aluminum, urethane, rubber, acrylics.
- Ability to operate laser, milling, water jet cutting systems.
- Ability to use calibration tools to properly ensure machine & tool tolerances.
- Assembly of proprietary products from pre-cut materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools.
- Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
- Clean & maintain department equipment.
- Maintaining equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs.
- Required to understand and use safety equipment reflective of department.
- Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help.
- Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner.
- Cross-training and support of other production departments.
- Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner.
- Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies� ability to meet customer requirements.
- Department quality control
- Read and understand work order paperwork.
- Repair/maintain high pressure pipes on water jet equipment.
- Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
- Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment.
- Able to perform repetitive motions and must have strong finger dexterity.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to sharp objects, fumes or airborne particles and a loud noise level.
