Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate Trumpf laser cutting machine(s) to support production team(s) in accordance with company specifications.

• Set-up, adjust and prepare punch/laser combinations of jobs.
  
• Read work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.
  
• Use measuring tools to complete tasks (micrometers, height gages and bore gages)
  
• Ensure material is loaded into the laser and the machine control is set-up to run to schedule
  
• Deburring parts with file or grinder as needed
  
• Perform set-up inspections, first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections
  

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience
  
• Proficiency in laser cutting and programming
  
• Familiarity with GD&T and precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and micrometers
  
• Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints
  
• Experience with hand tools, fabrication, and quality inspection
  
• Knowledge of machining processes, including CNC and press brake operation
