Minimum: A high school degree or GED equivalent is required. As well as some Sign Printing Operation and or related fields.
Preferred: Secondary education/Training in Graphic Design and 3 years of Sign Printing Operation related fields as well as CorelDRAW software experience.
Major Responsibilities
Operate multiple types of printing equipment.
Perform layout/Job set up to assure cost effective utilization of equipment.
Color management and matching custom colors with Pantone, CMYK, and RGB.
Assists with the fabrication of ADA Compliance signs and processes.
Use of all equipment used in the production of Interior signage.
Maintain proficiency in the use of software programs. (Corel Draw, and others)
Maintain an extensive working knowledge of production equipment.
Troubleshoot problems that occur during job submission or printing process.
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, meeting scheduled due dates.
Thoroughly inspects completed project to guarantee superior quality.
