Position Summary

We’re looking for a dependable General Laborer to support daily operations at our construction sites. This hands-on role includes preparing and cleaning job sites, moving materials and supplies, assisting with equipment care, and performing tasks as directed by the Foreman or Lead Operator.

This position reports to the Foreman or Superintendent. The ideal candidate is ready to learn new skills such as operating heavy equipment and understanding excavation processes. This position requires physical stamina, reliability, and a commitment to working safely in all weather conditions.

No prior construction experience is necessary, just a strong work ethic, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to follow instructions and show up ready to work every day.

Overtime Pay: Average 55-65 hours per week during spring, summer, and fall.

Travel Per Diem: $20-$55 daily.

Cell Phone Stipend: $2 per workday.

Essential Duties Responsibilities

• Complete tasks as instructed by Foreman or Lead Operator.
  
• Be willing and able to manually move material and supplies when needed.
  
• Be willing to learn how to run heavy equipment, use a grade rod and learn excavation processes.
  
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
  
• Perform Site clean-up.
  
• Ready to learn from on job training when necessary.
  
• Assist with caring for and maintaining equipment.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Must have a valid driver's license.
  
• Be at least 18 years of age.
  
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
  
• Ability to work in all weather.
  
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
  
• Must have reliable transportation.
  
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  

Physical Requirements

The General Laborer is regularly required to:

• Walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand.
  
• Talk and hear at normal levels.
  
• See with close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus.
  
• Reach with hands and arms.
  
• Use hands and fingers to operate to operate tools and other business machines.
  
• Lift and/ or move up to 75lbs
