Laborer

Laborers are responsible for executing a wide range of heavy manual physical tasks while adhering to strict safety guidelines and procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and a proactive attitude in identifying and mitigating potential hazards. This is a safety-sensitive position.

• Safety First: Prioritize safety above all else, and consistently follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
  
• Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, digging, and carrying heavy materials, as required by the job.
  
• Hazard Identification: Identify and report potential safety hazards or issues on job sites to supervisors or safety personnel.
  
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate various tools and equipment, including but not limited to, power tools, machinery, and vehicles.
  
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials, supplies, and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
  
• Site Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring debris and hazards are promptly addressed.
  
• PPE Compliance: Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
  
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and safety officers regarding safety concerns and job progress.
  
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly and responsibly in the event of emergencies, such as fires, accidents, or spills.
  
• Training: Participate in ongoing safety training and attend safety meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations.
  
• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of daily tasks including Timecard compliance.

• Valid Driver's License
  
• Hiring will be contingent on passing a drug screen and a Motor Vehicle Report Record check
  
• May require out of town work
  

• + Previous experience in labor-intensive roles, construction, or related fields preferred.
  

+ Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.

+ Strong commitment to safety and awareness of safety procedures.

+ Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

+ Willingness to obtain necessary certifications or licenses, such as forklift operation or first aid/CPR.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

+ Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends, as required.

Working Conditions:

+ The Safety-Sensitive Laborer will work primarily outdoors and may be exposed to varying weather conditions.

+ The role may involve exposure to dust, noise, and hazardous materials.

+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory and will be provided by the company.
