School-Age Child Care Aide

Duties and responsibilities include: Supervision of youth in a before & after school program setting, while maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment. Kids’ Zone aides will plan and implement high-quality academic and enrichment activities centered around youth interests and needs. Participate in ongoing professional development, idea-sharing, and collaboration across Community Education programs and K-12 educational system, and promotion of ideals of the Community Education philosophy and Hermantown Community Schools.

Minimum Qualifications: Age 16 +

Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule! All hours are scheduled to meet the needs of the Kids’ Zone hours of operation.

Hours of operation: Bay View 6:30 -8:15 AM & 2:30PM -5:30 PM | Pike Lake 6:30 - 9:00 AM & 3:15 - 5:30 PM.

Monday - Friday (no weekends, holidays, or scheduled school breaks) Just morning or afternoon shifts available or combination of both.

Compensation: $15.19-$17.55 based on relative experience. Can work up to 14 hours per week (program only offered on scheduled school days) more hours are available at a different site.
