Journeyman Electrician

We are currently hiring motivated, positive Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Kuenzi Electric Inc is a well-respected, family-owned and operated electrical contractor, founded in 2002, and based in Silverton, Oregon., with an additional location in Prineville, Oregon. We are hiring a Journeyman Electrician to join our team for residential, industrial and commercial work. Pay and competitive benefit package depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In the journeyman electrician role, you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid driver's license
  
• Completed a 4-year apprenticeship program
  
• Valid Oregon Journeyman Electrician license
  
• Pre-employment drug screening
  
• Relevant hands-on experience preferred
  
• Ability to use a wide variety of electrician tools and techniques
  
• In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, wiring schematics
  
• Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety standards
  
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
