Manufacture parts and components for hand-held surgical instruments by programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically Citizen lathes or comparable equipment.
Program, set-up, and operate sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically citizen lathes or comparable equipment.
Set-up and operate manual and less sophisticated CNC metal machining equipment.
Use of measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
Train CNC technician to become fully proficient to set up, operate and manufacture parts to controlled documents and drawings.
Able to work with little to no supervision.
Meets print dimensions and specifications in order to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
Consistently and diligently meets or exceeds standards for time, hours earned or appropriate amounts of completed work.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience at Journeyman level.
Expert in G & M codes.
Multi Axis tool setups.
Manual machining of metal.
Experienceprogramming, setting up, and operating sophisticated/complicated and less complicated CNC metal machining experience including citizen lathes or equivalent equipment.
Familiarity with Tsugami and Citizen Swiss CNC machines with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
Excellent manual dexterity.
Ability to visualize shapes.
Ability to follow verbal and written manufacturing procedures.
Experiencing readingblueprints.
Machine Shop certificate.
Technical School training.
Familiar with EDM programming/setup.
