We’re seeking a hands-on, experienced Job Site Leader to oversee the layout, planning, and safe execution of a variety of residential and light commercial construction projects. This role involves leading a small team through tasks such as septic system installation, house lot excavation, driveway construction and repair, and shoreline stabilization. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and motivator who takes pride in quality work, maintains high safety standards, and thrives in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:


Supervising and Coordinating*: Overseeing and managing construction crews, subcontractors, and other workers on the job site.
Active Participation*: Engaging in the physical work alongside the crew, operating machinery, utilizing tools, and contributing to the construction process of septic system installations, site work, driveway repairs & upgrades, shoreline stabilization, land clearing, and many more.
Safety and Quality Control*: Enforcing health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and conducting inspections to ensure quality work and adherence to specifications.
Communication and Collaboration*: Serving as a primary point of contact between workers, subcontractors, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Problem-solving and Decision-making*: Proactively identifying and resolving issues and emergencies that arise on the job site to prevent delays or disruptions.
Resource Management*: Keeping track of materials, ordering supplies, managing equipment maintenance, and ensuring resources are readily available.
Documentation and Reporting*: Maintaining accurate records, including site inspections, safety reports, progress updates, and budget reports.


*SOME Nights & Weekends (Mostly during snow storms)


Desired Skills / Experience:


  • Proven experience in the construction industry, including supervisory experience.
  • Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment safely and with good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and the ability to follow all requirements/procedures for safe work, company security, environmental protection, and loss control
  • Ability to interpret drawings
  • The ability to effectively lead, motivate, train, and manage a small construction crew
  • Insurable driving record with Class C license (CDL not required but preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and leadership skills
  • The capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Involvement in snow plowing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in and learn our field software, Service Titan
  • Reliability and a good attitud


Hours Per Week: 40 - 50
