CVU is looking for a Jazz Band Director to lead the high school's co-curricular band program outside of the regular school day. The jazz band director works closely with the music directors during rehearsals and performances that may occur during and outside of the regular school day, assisting with related tasks, and serving as an instructional resource for students and teachers in the area of fine arts. Jazz Band has historically met on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 pm throughout the school year and presents 4 concerts per year in collaboration with the other music ensembles at CVU.
The position is a Category II co-curricular position and will be paid according to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Applicants will need to complete a Criminal Records Check prior to being hired.
