What’s yours?Member of a high performing team focusing on delivering stable uptime and efficiency thru excellence in IT at the plant. This associate is responsible for delivering various digital manufacturing execution solutions that support business goals through modern design, development, testing, implementation and support of advanced shop floor software. They serve as a subject matter expert associated with code and interfaces, processes, and procedures associated with respective SAP ME and MII and other digital assets on the shop floor. This role will include daily interaction with the plant leaders regarding adoption and enhancement of digital controls. Successful MES associates will be able to assess and resolve business problems associated with the use of MES tools as well as create and implement new digital capabilities. This associate will guide their local plant through enterprise rollouts of new technology and play a a key role in the full lifecycle of development projects from requirement gathering, functional and technical specification thru build, testing and delivery for Hunter Douglas manufacturing operations. The developer will be responsible for overseeing overall code modification efforts and managing data systems which interface between plant control systems and system applications. Additionally, a key function of this role includes continuous drive to establish the current best practice techniques keeping abreast of other enterprise capabilities and trends in new marketplace technologies ensuring that our digital footprint achieves both standard architecture expectations and user friendly processes.
