Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. Kwik Trip’s IT department is seeking a Full-Time Audio/Visual Co-worker. The IT Audio/Visual Analyst 1 position is responsible for the administration and configuration of conference room technology. This position also fulfills the role of escalation point for the End User Services team, monitoring task and incident queues and providing third tier end user support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Daily Support & Operations
  • + Provide first-level support for Audio/Visual systems including displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control systems.

+ Monitor and respond to Audio/Visual-related service tickets and requests in a timely manner.

+ Assist users with connecting to and operating Audio/Visual systems during meetings and events.

  • Event Support
  • + Operate live event equipment including mixers, switchers, and streaming tools.

+ Ensure high-quality audio and video output during presentations, webinars, and hybrid meetings.

  • System Maintenance
  • + Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on Audio/Visual equipment.

+ Maintain accurate inventory of Audio/Visual assets and supplies.

+ Assist with firmware updates and configuration changes under supervision.

  • Collaboration & Documentation
  • + Work closely with IT, Facilities, and external vendors to support integrated systems.

+ Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.

+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:


  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Media Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Audio/Visual support or a related technical role.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
  • Basic understanding of signal flow, cabling, and Audio/Visual hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work flexible hours as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Crestron, QSC, or similar control systems.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals related to Audio/Visual systems.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Crestron, QSC, CTS, AVIXA) are a plus.


Work Environment:


  • Office and event space environments.
  • Occasional travel between sites may be required.
  • May involve early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on event schedules.
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
