We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage for various landscaping projects.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for digging, building, and maintaining irrigation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to design effective irrigation solutions tailored to specific garden needs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding water usage and landscape maintenance.
- Provide recommendations for lawn care practices that enhance the health of the landscape.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during each project.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems effectively.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ability to dig trenches and install piping for irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of best practices in lawn care and garden maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while following safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
