Interventional Radiology Tech

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
• Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations, explaining the procedure to alleviate any concerns.
  
• Operate radiologic equipment with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
  
• Maintain patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
  
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and assist in the development of treatment plans.
  
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control measures in all procedures.
  
• Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  

• Proficiency in various imaging modalities such as Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, PET Scans, and Diagnostic Radiology.
  
• Knowledge of Emergency Medicine practices and protocols within a Level II trauma center environment.
  
• Strong understanding of human Anatomy and Physiology to accurately assess patient needs and imaging requirements.
  
• Experience in Urgent Care settings is a plus.
  
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records.
  
• Ability to work under pressure while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Pay: $33.33 - $70.00 per hour
