International Dentist looking to work in Dental Field as Orthodontic Record Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting orthodontic procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to patient comfort, infection control, and efficient workflow within the dental office.

• Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies.
  
• Conduct patient assessments to gather medical history and current health information.
  
• Perform medical imaging tasks as required, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
  
• Support four-handed dentistry by anticipating the needs of the orthodontist during procedures.
  
• Document patient information accurately in medical records, adhering to infection control protocols.
  
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience in a friendly environment.
  

Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• Pediatrics: Familiarity with working with children in a dental setting is preferred.
  
• Medical Imaging: Ability to perform and assist with imaging techniques.
  
• Four Handed Dentistry: Experience in assisting during dental procedures effectively.
  
• General Dentistry: Understanding of general dental practices and procedures.
  
• Medical Documentation: Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records.
  
• Oral Surgery: Knowledge of assisting in oral surgical procedures is a plus.
  
• Infection Control: Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental office.
  
• Dental Office: Previous experience working in a dental office environment is beneficial.
  
• Patient Assessment: Skills in evaluating patient needs and comfort levels.
  
• Endodontics: Familiarity with endodontic procedures is an advantage.
