Notes about this position: This job will require up to 100% of travel out-of-state which may be consecutive days/weeks. All travel and mileage is paid for by the company as well as food and lodging expenses when on the road. The type of installation and cable work is physically demanding and may be in a harsh environment. MIS Networks' ideal candidate has an exceptional work-ethic, a positive attitude, and is self-motivated. No previous experience or training in the field is necessary.
The Installation and Network Support Technician I (INST-1) will be responsible for installing and cabling new networks and network upgrades onsite for customers; assisting in designing new networks, network upgrades and presenting proposals for customers; troubleshooting network and connection issues; resolving customer complaints relating to the network; testing and configuring any related software. The INST-1 will work on-site for installations and service calls as well as remotely for other support services. This is an entry level position that will receive on the job training from upper level technicians for all job responsibilities. All tools and equipment will be provided.
