Under the direction of the Quality Director, responsible for oversight of CTHS infection control and prevention program acitivites, including at the Regional Medical Center, and outlying clinics. Acting Infection Control Officer and Hospital Epidemiologist and co-chair of the Infection Control Committee. Works collaboratively with medical staff, leadership, medical directors, integrated care management, nursing and other members of the designated System entities management team in researching, designing and implementing “best practices†guidelines and protocols to support clinical, ancillary, contract, and non-clinical services and continuous improvement in patient care outcomes.

Required:

• Current Nevada health care license in Nursing, Lab, or other equivalent qualifications
  
• Bachelors degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Medical Technology, Epidemiology, Preventive Medicine, or other related health field.
  
• Minimum three (3) years health-care experience relevant to Clinical Outcomes or Infection Control
  
• APIC CIC or other equivalent certification in Infection Prevention/Control within 1 year of hire
  

Preferred:

• Infection control experience
  
• Clinical Review experience
  
• Master�s Degree
