In-Person Tutors Needed

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking reliable, enthusiastic Academic Tutors to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for educators, college students, retired teachers, and professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed in a flexible, rewarding role.

Subjects Needed:

• Elementary (K-5) Reading, Writing, Math
  
• Middle & High School English, Algebra, Geometry, Sciences
  
• Test Prep (ACT, SAT, GED)
  
• Special Education
  
• Executive Functioning & Study Skills
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-on-1 academic support in-home or online
  
• Customize lessons to suit each student�s learning style
  
• Track and report student progress
  
• Communicate regularly with families and the local Tutor Doctor office
  
• Maintain a consistent schedule with students

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
  
• At least 1 year of tutoring/teaching experience preferred
  
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions (if applicable)
  
• Comfortable with basic technology for online sessions
  
• Clear background check
  
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
  

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with IEPs or students with learning differences
  
• Teaching certification or degree in education
