Law firm is seeking a committed attorney with 1-3 years of immigration law experience to join our office and work in this dynamic field. Experience in removal defense is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with most common forms of relief available to new arrivals in the United States. Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter. Ideal candidate possesses impeccable organization skills and is detail-oriented. Candidate should expect and want to regularly appear in the Immigration Court.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Court Hearings
- Asylum Office Interview preparation
- Attend clients' interviews and appointments at USCIS field offices
- Client Communication
- Legal Research and writing
- Visiting detained clients
- Review and analyze forms of relief for individuals in detention
- Preparing submissions for various deportation defenses
- Coordinating paperwork related to immigration/citizenship, including affidavits, petitions,
applications
- Preparing waivers, applications for visa adjustments
- Keep track of calendaring tasks and prioritizing assignments in order to meet deadlines
- Strong candidates pending admission will be considered
- Provide legal and organizational assistance to senior attorney.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
