Citi continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Institutional Credit Management (ICM), a first line of defense business line, to house and consistently manage credit risk activities performed for Citi’s institutional clients. ICM’s objective is to provide integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit across the enterprise. Within ICM, the Credit Underwriting function (“ICM UW†or “UWâ€) provides credit analysis, underwriting, and first line of defense credit approval for periodic / material transaction reviews, and any necessary subsequent credit monitoring across all institutional business including Corporate Banking, Services, and Markets relationships.
ICM Underwriters manage a portfolio of relationships across the North American Corporate Developed Market, being responsible for the continuous monitoring of that portfolio. That includes the production of annual reviews, quarterly reviews, and the support of ad-hoc transactions and portfolio & industry reviews and stress testing, in partnership with the Corporate Banking team and Risk. This role reports to the Power & Chemicals ICM UW industry head.
