We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of troubleshooting complex HVAC systems and ensuring optimal performance for our clients.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, heating units, and refrigeration systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to troubleshoot electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Conduct equipment repairs and replacements as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Install new HVAC units and components while adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
- Work collaboratively with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in residential or commercial properties.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites as required.
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair; certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and schematics for troubleshooting.
- Experience with appliance repair and general equipment repair is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Valid driver�s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
