Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Helper to support our Major Projects construction projects in the Lawrenceville/Atlanta area. In this entry-level role, you’ll assist HVAC technicians with installations and job site support, learning the fundamentals of mechanical system installation. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the HVAC trade.

Note: This is an on-site support role only - no driving is required.

Key Responsibilities:

· . Assist HVAC technicians with the installation of ductwork, equipment, and system components

· . Carry, stage, and organize materials and tools at job sites

· . Perform basic HVAC tasks including:

• Measuring and cutting ductwork
  
• Sealing and insulating duct systems
  
• Hanging duct using strapping or supports
  
• Installing vent boots and grilles
  

· . Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

· . Clean and prepare job sites, including debris removal

· . Follow all company safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment

Qualifications:

· . High school diploma or equivalent

· . Prior experience in construction or HVAC preferred, but not required

· . Basic understanding of HVAC components and tools (duct, flex, sheet metal, line sets, etc.)

· . Comfortable using tape measures, snips, drills, and other hand tools

· . Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

· . Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces and varied weather conditions

· . Reliable transportation to job sites (no driving required on the job)

· . Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

· . Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
