Position Opening: Human Resources Manager - People Strategy & Culture Leadership


Location: Ahwatukee, Arizona
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Primarily in-office, with up to 20% local travel
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 annually (DOE)

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Onboarding


  • Collaborate with leaders to assess hiring needs and write compelling job descriptions
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for multiple Phoenix-area locations
  • Build structured onboarding programs that create consistency and excitement
  • Cultivate partnerships with local schools and training programs


Performance, Development & Engagement


  • Coach managers on employee relations, feedback, and development strategies
  • Champion initiatives around wellness, team engagement, and DEI
  • Facilitate training in leadership, compliance, and career growth
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews to inform retention strategies


HR Operations & Compliance


  • Oversee compliance with state and federal employment laws (AZ labor law, OSHA, FMLA, EEO)
  • Manage benefits, leave policies, and employee compensation processes
  • Maintain personnel files and support internal audits
  • Run and analyze HR reports and dashboards to support leadership decisions


Strategic Projects & Organizational Support


  • Lead or support HR projects (e.g., HRIS rollout, handbook redesign, culture surveys)
  • Advise on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession efforts
  • Act as a sounding board for senior leadership on all matters related to people, policy, and engagement


What You Bring


  • Education: Bachelor�s degree in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field


(Master’s preferred)


  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or business partner role
  • Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and HRIS systems (ADP strongly preferred)
  • Certifications (preferred): PHR, SHRM-CP, or PMQ
  • Expertise In: Arizona labor law, conflict resolution, performance coaching, and policy design
  • Traits: High emotional intelligence, strong project management, and a proactive, collaborative mindset
