We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Human Resource team! The Human Resources Intern Program is designed for current college students specializing in Human Resources. The purpose of this intern program is to allow students to gain practical, hands-on experience in various functions within Human Resources at Duke Energy.
Assignments may include:* HR Consulting Services - This rotation will provide you with the opportunity to learn how the HR consultants contribute to the success of the business. Responsibilities will include providing manager and employee support in the areas of employee development, performance management, organization effectiveness, diversity and inclusion and employee relations.
Working Conditions* Hybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations.
Basic/Required Qualifications* Currently enrolled and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation date no earlier than August 2026
Desired Qualifications* Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master's degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology or Organization Development (or closely related field)
