About the Job


Legacy Housing Corporation (NASDAQ: LEGH) is seeking a highly motivated

Human Resources Manager to lead and support our HR team. This full-time, in-office role at our corporate headquarters in Bedford, TX, offers hands-on experience within a public company operating in both the manufacturing and financial services sectors. The HR Manager will oversee human resources operations for approximately 600 employees across multiple locations, including manufacturing plants, retail mobile home lots, and the corporate office.


Essential Job Responsibilities


· Manage the HR function and team across multiple sites and states


· Maintain and improve HR systems, processes, and compliance protocols


· Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws and regulatory standards


· Oversee OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation processes


· Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, especially for production and sales roles


· Lead onboarding, training, and retention initiatives


· Provide guidance on workforce planning, compensation, and organizational structure


· Handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution


· Manage payroll and benefits administration, including open enrollment and self-funded plans


· Track, analyze, and report on key HR metrics


Required Qualifications


· Bachelor’s degree in a related field


· 10+ years of progressive, relevant HR experience


· Experience in a manufacturing environment with a large production or operations workforce is preferred


· Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (or comparable full-service HRIS), including payroll, benefits, and time & attendance modules


· Experience with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation compliance preferred


· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills


· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word


· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated


· Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment


· High integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential matters
