Reporting to the CFO, The Human Resources Director serves as both a tactical and strategic business partner in several key human resources related functional disciplines (Recruiting, Employee Relations, Compensation/Benefits, Employee Engagement, Compliance, HR Administration (including Leaves and Workers Compensation, Performance Management, Departures/Exits, Development and Training). This is a hands-on role; working with people at all levels of the organization. The HR Director originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives across the organization. This individual advises and counsels leadership around providing an employee-oriented; high performance culture that embodies South Shore Star’s core values. This Director manages an HR Generalist/Recruiter, and is responsible for all HR strategic projects and initiatives. The Director ensures metrics are in place to measure HR’s overall contribution the organization’s goals.
