We’re looking for a hands-on and experienced
Human Resources Generalist to lead all HR operations for our property management company. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day HR functions and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll handle everything from employee relations and compliance to benefits and payroll administration-helping ensure a positive and compliant workplace across multiple states, including California.- Manage all HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance support
- Advise leadership on HR issues, policy development, and best practices
- Handle complex employee concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws-including California
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes
- Administer benefits and support payroll using ADP Workforce Now
- Create reports and insights to support executive decision-making
- Solve problems and make recommendations for improving efficiency and performance
- Foster a positive and compliant workplace culture
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience with leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws, including California
- Experience resolving employee relations issues and conducting investigations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (required)
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Self-motivated, analytical problem solver that can work proactively with minimal supervision.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus
- Experience in property management or real estate is a bonus
