Primary Responsibilities:


  • Implement and maintain HSE programs and procedures to meet current standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations including Hazardous Waste, Air Permitting, Storm Water Discharge, and SARA Title reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all HSE matters across assigned facilities and with external customers.


Job Duties:


  • Conduct, coordinate, and document HSE training including Stop Work Authority, Behavior-Based Safety, Respiratory Protection, Emergency Action Plans, and more.
  • Maintain OSHA logs, injury/incident records, and other required documentation in systems such as JDE.
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses, including documentation and reporting.
  • Manage and develop programs for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), PPE Hazard Analysis, and hearing conservation.
  • Support all incident responses 24/7, including those involving contract employees.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external HSE audits.
  • Maintain Workers� Compensation and injury management records.
  • Represent the facility in HSE meetings with customers and regulatory bodies.
  • Travel is require up to 10% of the time to support HSE efforts.


Education and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor�s degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE program implementation preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) is strongly preferred
  • OSHA 10/30-hour General Industry trainer certification preferred.
  • Professional HSE certifications and EPA/Waste Management experience are a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish (read, write, speak, translate) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Previous experience with JD Edwards is a bonus
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to train small and large groups.
  • Valid driver�s license with a clean driving record in accordance with NOV policy.
