The HRIS Lead is a functional subject matter expert and system support specialist for Mountain Parks Human Resource applications. The HR applications include Kronos (both UKG HCM and UKG Dimensions), Absorb, Basic, PlanSource, and the integrations to other non-HR systems such as Oracle. In addition, this role will develop new and innovative ways to automate HR functions, processes, data analytics, and reporting needs to gain efficiencies by supporting upgrades, testing, and other HR systems projects.


This is a lead position responsible for the supervision of HRIS Specialists, providing system support, analysis of data, communication, and coordination with End Users and key stakeholders.


Essential Functions:


  • Provides direction, expertise, and mentoring for HRIS Specialists in the areas of system maintenance and integration, daily operations, mass updates, data and system integrity, and testing.
  • Manages projects of all changes to HR system applications; determines time estimates for completing projects.
  • Conducts impact analysis of business requirements in the system and ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
  • Creates and executes test plans, test remediation plans, and test scenarios/scripts with expected outcomes.
  • Creates and analyzes ad hoc reports, data feeds, interface files, dashboards, and other analytical tools to support the management and the organization.
  • Ensures development of self-service reporting capabilities, including real-time dashboards, automated workflows, and email notifications, that meet the needs of the business, employees, and managers.
  • Acts as the technical point of contact for HR Systems as the subject matter expert with users, ensuring data integrity and identifying overall needs.
  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of training materials, user procedures, and documentation (test plans, design documents, etc.) for the end users.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Position Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in performing human resource information systems (HRIS) support for HRIS applications that manage functions such as Human Resources, Pension, Benefits, Payroll, or Time and Attendance.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • One (1) year of experience in maintenance testing of an HRIS application, which includes regression testing and impact analysis for system releases.
  • Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience
