Local manufacturing company is seeking an HR Generalist. This position will be responsible for preparation of hourly offer letters, pre-employment screenings, completing and submitting FMLASTD paperwork for approval, submission of Workers' Compensation claims, as well as assisting with Open Enrollments. Duties also include timecard review and hourly payroll reconciliation, along with attendance tracking as well as other HR duties as assigned. This position will support our production departments to ensure employee alignment is reflected properly. The HR Generalist will be responsible for processing and submitting employee changes in our HRMSPayroll system. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite products required.
· Minimum 3 - 5 years Human Resource experience
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
· Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
· Prior union experience a plus
