Position Title: HR Admin ASSISTANT HOURLY NON-EXEMPT


Reports To: Corporate HR/General MANAGER Job Type: clerical


DESCRIPTION:


The HR Admin is responsible for approving timesheets and balancing hours for payroll, recruiting and interviewing new hires, scheduling performance reviews, coordinating with the workman’s comp provider claim filing and accident reporting. Calculating and posting OSHA forms, maintaining and updating employment benefits and assisting with enforcing company policies and practices. Maintaining current and historical staff records

. Pay is commensurate to experience.


REQUIRED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality with respect to employee and company records.
  • Run timecard reports, organize, present to General Manager for review
  • Place ads, screen potential employees, schedule interviews for the GM and Plant Supervisors.
  • Conducting investigations to employee complaints, maintaining those records
  • Retains historical human resource records past and current records
  • Comprehend and comply with Company health and safety training programs. Manage Workman�s Comp claims, follow up and recording accident and incident reports
  • Communicate with team members on the floor and with the main office
  • Execute multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent Communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Second language is an added benefit.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Able to work extended hours on occasion when required.
  • Project a positive, ethical image of the company, be trustworthy and honest.


EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Minimum High School or Trade School education
  • 5 yr. minimum hands-on Payroll and HR admin experience
  • Experience with the UKG Payroll and HR platform is an added benefit.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
