This position attends to all facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for guests which is a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening reputation.

Areas of responsibility include lodge common areas and lodge bathrooms, with the inclusion of the White Pine cabins and campground.


The Details


  • Wage: $15 - $25/hour, Depends on experience, to be discussed with interested applicants during interview.
  • Position Type: Year-round with flexible hours, must be able to work weekends.
  • Schedule: Hours may vary depending on business needs and season. May include weekends and holidays.
  • Location: White Pine Ski Resort.


Essential Responsibilities


  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and polishing.
  • Notify management of any damages, deficits and/or disturbances.
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and request replacement when appropriate.
  • Restock consumables as appropriate (i.e., paper products, soaps, cleaning products, etc.).
  • Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related policies.
  • Take full trash to dumpster and place empty, clean, trash bag liners in cans.
  • Maintain clean and orderly common areas (interior as well as exterior) whether located at the base area lodge, the campground, or the cabins.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper with knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of efficient performance.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly.
  • Prioritization and time management skills are a must.
  • Work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Work well unsupervised.
  • Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs while working.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable winter transportation required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • A high level of responsibility and reliability required.
