Hotel & Retail Operations Manager - Exceptional Commission & Growth Opportunity

We’re a boutique waterfront resort with 24 rooms, a tiki bar, dive operation, and soon-to-open general and liquor stores. Our resort generates over $3M annually across lodging, bar, and dive operations, with additional retail opening soon. We’re looking for a manager ready to take this growth even further.

• Lead day-to-day operations of the 24‑room resort (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance)
  
• Develop and oversee Dive & Stay packages with our dive shop
  
• Collaborate with the bar manager on events, group packages, and future room service
  
• Launch and manage the general store and liquor store, focused on high-value guest retail
  
• Oversee retail operations including inventory, merchandising, and cross-selling
  
• Foster local partnerships and promote resort offerings, dive, and retail
  
• Provide monthly operations summaries to leadership
  
• Assist with hiring, training, and mentor team members across all departments to ensure operational consistency and a positive guest experience
  
• Build relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and group planners to increase bookings and package sales
  

• Base Salary: $35,000-$48,000/year based on experience
  
• On-Site Housing: Furnished lodging included
  
• Bonus Potential: Up to $110,000/year through performance-based incentive

• Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
  

• 5+ years in hospitality or resort management (required)
  
• Multi-department oversight experience (lodging, F&B, retail)
  
• Strong leadership, guest service, and financial acumen
  
• Skilled in using spreadsheets to track KPIs and financial performance
  
• Proficient with POS systems and retail inventory software
  
• Familiar with promoting hospitality services through social media and digital platforms
  
• Comfortable managing performance, sales, and operations
  
• Creative, flexible, and customer-experience-focused
  
• Certifications such as CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) or CHRM (Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager) and continued education are a plus but not required
  
• Experience in resort destinations or tourism-heavy markets preferred
